Active Plus puts members first.

Active Plus is a small gym located in Drumcondra.

We are on the top floor of the ABC building on Lower Drumcondra Road, between the train station and the site which was formerly Quinn’s pub.

Membership to Active plus is €80 per month and drop in passes are also available.

To subscribe and to book classes you will need to download the Glofox app via your app store and opt for Active Plus Gym.

We offer small group training, personal training and a fully equipped strength and conditioning style gym for members.

Our classes run 20 times per week, and range from high intensity interval style training to Pilates, and everything in between. The classes are suitable for everyone, whether you’re new to the gym or a seasoned veteran. The full timetable is available on the Glofox app, and the schedule is updated for the coming week by Sunday.

We have a team of highly qualified and experienced trainers to help you meet your goals.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Paul.jpg

Paul

Formerly an accountant, Paul made the switch from finance to fitness in 2016. Prior to becoming a personal trainer in active plus, Paul was a keen member, so he knows what it's like to be on the receiving end of a tough session. Paul played rugby for UCD at intervarsity level, but these days he focuses on competing in powerlifting.

Aisling.jpg

AISLING

Having started in the fitness industry at 18, Aisling has gained extensive experience working in both New Zealand and Ireland. Taking a few years out to have her daughter, Aisling understands the struggle in getting the balance between good nutrition and exercise, family time and setting her daughter a good example.

Neil.jpg

Neil

A long time trainer in Active Plus, Neil started his fitness journey in martial arts. Transitioning from kickboxing to Olympic wrestling (and everything in between), he has medalled in the latter at both the Irish and Ulster Opens. An unquenchable interest in everything physical developed from there, which prompted Neil to make a career out of what he loved to do. From competing in a natural men's physique show on stage, to teaching handstands to members on the gym floor - he is both equally adept at handling body composition/fat loss goals of clients, as well as improving athletic attributes such as speed, strength and mobility. A big proponent of practicing what you preach - Neil consistently challenges himself to improve both physically and mentally, and wants to help you to do the same.
